About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct pre-donation medical screening
- Interact with donors and respond to customer needs

Requirements

- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work a flexible schedule

- Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
- Patient and able to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to listen to and understand spoken information
- Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups
- Ability to work sitting or standing for an entire shift
- Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
- Frequent hand movement and precise coordinated finger, hand and wrist movements

- Ability to lift 15 lbs. routinely and up to 50 lbs. maximum
- Ability to reach below shoulder height
- Essential hearing acuity

- Ability to work around biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and temperatures below 32°F
