About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct pre-donation medical screening
  • Interact with donors and respond to customer needs

  • Perform work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and extreme cold in the plasma freezer
  • Wear required personal protective equipment
  • Work sitting or standing for the entire shift, with bending and twisting as needed
  • Perform a wide range of complex tasks under variable and changing conditions

Requirements

  • Superior customer service standards
  • A High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • An interest in making a difference in the world
  • Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
  • Patient, able to handle multiple tasks, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups
  • Ability to perform precise coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs. routinely, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
