  • Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
  • Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear
  • Ability to sit or stand for the entire shift, bend, and twist the neck and waist
  • Frequent hand and foot movement; ability to make fast, simple finger, hand, and wrist movements
  • Ability to make precise coordinated movements to grasp and manipulate objects
  • Ability to squat, crouch, or sit on one's heels when required
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds maximum
  • Ability to reach below shoulder height
  • Essential hearing acuity, color perception/discrimination, and correctable near and far vision
  • Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to listen to and understand spoken information
  • Ability to perform complex tasks under variable and changing conditions
