About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct pre-donation medical screening
- Interact with donors and respond to customer needs
- Assess donor suitability and perform set-up
- Provide appropriate feedback to ineligible donor candidates
- Ensure all donor screening information is complete
- Ensure donor confidentiality
- Work in a plasma center environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED
- Superior customer service standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Interest in making a difference in the world
- Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
- Ability to listen to and understand spoken information
- Ability to perform according to oral or written instructions
- Ability to handle exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment and extreme cold
- Ability to sit or stand for an entire shift, bend and twist neck and waist
- Frequent hand, finger, wrist and foot movements
- Ability to make precise coordinated movements to grasp and manipulate objects
- Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
- Hearing acuity essential
- Correctable near and far vision and color perception/discrimination
- Ability to perform complex tasks under variable and changing conditions
- Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups
