About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry out and comply with hygiene, quality, and documentation requirements
- Prepare, support, and provide aftercare for donors throughout the donation process
- Operate, inspect, and calibrate equipment, and report malfunctions
- Process, label, store, and ship blood and plasma products
- Perform regular transportation and relocation tasks
- Conduct quality checks and maintain data in the IT system
- Support the medical team and take on additional center-specific tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training or at least three years of professional experience (industry-independent; experience in the medical field is preferred)
- German language skills: at least B2 level
- Initial experience in the healthcare and social services sector
- Personable and service-oriented approach
- Enjoy working with IT systems
- Willingness to work scheduled early and late shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
- Willingness to perform predominantly standing work
- Ability to respond quickly in the event emergency care is required
