  • Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
  • Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to listen to and understand spoken information and ideas
  • Ability to communicate sensitive information to diverse groups
  • Ability to work in a plasma center environment with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and extreme cold
  • Ability to stand for 6 to 8 hours per day and walk up to 6 to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to bend and twist the neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
  • Frequent hand, finger, wrist, and foot movement; ability to make precise coordinated movements
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
  • Hearing acuity essential
  • Correctable near and far vision and color perception/discrimination requirements
