Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in determining the suitability of donors
Establish rapport with donors to ensure customer happiness while maintaining donor confidentiality
Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions
Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality
Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines
Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment
Perform work in a plasma center supporting Grifols' plasma-derived medicines and transfusion medicine operations

What you’ll need

Superior customer service standards
A High School diploma or GED
Ability to work a flexible schedule
An interest in making a difference in the world
Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to listen to and understand spoken information
Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups
Ability to work standing for 6 to 8 hours per day
Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
Frequent hand and finger movements and precise coordinated movements to grasp and manipulate objects
Ability to perform frequent foot movement and walk up to 6–8 hours per day
Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
Hearing acuity essential
Color perception/discrimination and correctable near and far vision requirements
Ability to work around biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F
Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear
