  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

  • Comfortable being exposed to extreme temperatures
  • Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Ability to perform precise coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements
  • Hearing acuity essential
  • Color perception/discrimination
  • Near and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and the other eye to 20/100
  • Ability to stand for 4 to 6 hours per day
  • Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
  • Ability to lift 25–35 lbs for 1–2 hours per day, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and temperatures below 32°F
