About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect and process donor samples for processing and testing
- Record product and sample weights
- Label samples and freeze units for final packing within the required timeframe
- Pack units for final shipment
- Pack samples and prepare shipping boxes for delivery to the testing laboratory
- Monitor stored products
- Report equipment working conditions

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Superior customer service standards
- Organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable being exposed to extreme temperatures
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to listen to and understand spoken information
- Ability to stand for 4 to 6 hours per day
- Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
- Frequent hand and foot movement; ability to make precise coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements
- Ability to lift 15 lbs occasionally, 25–35 lbs for 1–2 hours per day, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs
- Hearing acuity essential
- Correctable near and far vision requirements
- Color perception/discrimination
- Exposure to biological fluids and potential infectious organisms is acceptable
- Ability to use personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear
