  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Great organizational, computer, and trouble-shooting skills
  • Comfortable being exposed to extreme temperatures
  • Able to comprehend and follow instructions to complete assigned tasks
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Ability to perform within the guidance of oral or written instructions
  • Ability to work around biological fluids and potentially infectious organisms
  • Ability to use electrical office and laboratory equipment
  • Personal protective equipment required, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves and cold-gear
  • Hearing acuity essential
  • Color perception/discrimination; near and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and the other eye to 20/100
  • Ability to stand for 4 to 6 hours per day
  • Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
  • Frequent hand and foot movement; precise coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs occasionally, 25–35 lbs for 1–2 hours per day, and up to 50 lbs maximum
  • Ability to reach below shoulder height; may squat, crouch, sit on heels, and walk up to 1–2 hours per day
