About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect and process donor samples for processing and testing
- Record product and sample weights
- Label samples and freeze units for final packing within the required timeframe
- Pack units for final shipment
- Pack samples and prepare shipping boxes for shipment to the testing laboratory
- Monitor stored products
- Report equipment working conditions

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED
- Superior customer service standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including below 32°F in a plasma freezer
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to listen to and understand spoken information and ideas
- Ability to perform precise, coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements
- Hearing acuity essential
- Color perception/discrimination
- Near and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and the other eye to 20/100
- Ability to stand 4–6 hours per day, bend and twist neck and waist, walk up to 1–2 hours per day, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work around biological fluids and potentially infectious organisms
- Ability to work with electrical office and laboratory equipment
