About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform routine release, performance, analytical, and bioburden testing
  • Perform environmental monitoring using GMP/GLP practices
  • Analyze data and interpret results against specifications, validity criteria, and alert limits
  • Maintain product and QC material inventories
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and stock testing materials
  • Maintain and clean equipment; calibrate or submit equipment for calibration as needed
  • Complete training on time and maintain training records
  • Revise QC documents, including SOPs and QSs
  • Participate in laboratory and Out of Specification investigations
  • Train QC analysts on test methods
  • Test and release raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished goods
  • Report to the QC Supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in biological science or chemistry
  • 0–2 years of relatable QC experience
  • Working knowledge of GMP/GLP
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Some technical writing skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience working with and handling blood products preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of stated requirements
