Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or LVN
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Spanish bilingual required
  • Ability to stand and sit for up to 2–4 hours per day each
  • Ability to bend and twist the neck for 1–2 hours per day
  • Frequent hand and finger movement and precise coordinated movements
  • Ability to squat, crouch, or sit on heels occasionally
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs. routinely and up to 50 lbs. maximum
  • Hearing acuity essential
  • Correctable near and far vision; color perception/discrimination
  • Ability to communicate and understand spoken and written information
  • Ability to work independently and follow oral or written instructions
  • Ability to perform varied tasks under changing conditions
  • Ability to communicate sensitive information to diverse groups
  • Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and temperatures below 32°F
  • Ability to use required personal protective equipment
