Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or LVN
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Spanish bilingual required
  • Ability to perform physical examination and assess donor suitability
  • Ability to evaluate donor injuries, adverse events, illness history, and medications
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and understand spoken information
  • Ability to work independently and follow oral or written instructions
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs. routinely, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical office/laboratory equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F
  • Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear
  • Hearing acuity and correctable near/far vision required
