About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with department SMEs and cross-functional teams to analyze inefficiencies and optimization opportunities
- Collect, analyze, and propose relevant performance data, including cycle time, yield, quality, and cost
- Propose and manage process improvement initiatives, including redesign, automation, standardization, and waste reduction
- Maintain project schedules, deliverables, timelines, and resources
- Drive cross-functional team meetings and project execution
- Establish and maintain performance metrics and dashboards
- Report KPIs and present findings, insights, and recommendations to management and site OPEX
- Assist in developing and delivering training on continuous improvement principles and methodologies
- Provide guidance and support to team members implementing improvement projects
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement best practices
- Lead and facilitate complex cross-functional project teams
- Collaborate with Finance and site OPEX on cost analysis
- Use statistical tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and root causes
- Participate in training programs, workshops, conferences, and professional networks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced experience with data analysis tools (MS Excel, JMP)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to influence without authority and drive changes
- BS/BA degree in a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of working in operations with experience in continuous improvement and/or project management
- For the senior level: experience with process mapping software and project management tracking (e.g., Visio, MS Project, GANTT)
- For the senior level: experience with data analysis tools (MS Excel, JMP)
- For the senior level: understanding of quality management systems and operational metrics
- For the senior level: strong project management and organizational skills
- For the senior level: BS/BA degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in continuous improvement, project management, statistical analysis or process engineering
- Preferred experience in a cGMP, FDA work environment
- Preferred knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
