About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage temperature-controlled, inventoried material across multiple warehouse locations
  • Perform ERP transactions in SAP
  • Process Transfer Orders and Goods Receipts
  • Operate manual and motorized warehouse equipment
  • Reprioritize tasks based on schedule changes and business needs
  • Maintain training requirements, warehouse organization, cleanliness, and inventory accuracy
  • Notify management when materials experience temperatures out of specification
  • Coordinate transfer and reconciliation of materials between facilities and complete required documentation
  • Interact with inter- and intradepartmental teams
  • Plan, coordinate, and perform material and equipment transfers between warehouse locations
  • Lead shipping and receiving activities
  • Deliver and retrieve raw materials, semi-finished goods, or finished goods using a company vehicle while maintaining temperature specifications
  • Identify issues, present possible solutions, and seek approval
  • Train new colleagues and ensure processes are followed
  • Participate in special projects and activities
  • Follow safety and general warehouse rules and policies in a regulated environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or AA with related experience
  • 1–3 years of related experience with a high school diploma, or 0–2 years with an AA
  • At least 1 year of GMP experience in a regulated environment
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Computer knowledge and use of email and system applications
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Mathematic skills
  • Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments
  • Effective communication among peers
  • Good customer service interaction
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of dangerous goods and/or hazardous material handling
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or manipulate objects up to 55 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently or continuously
  • Ability to work in 2–8C or -20C walk-in units for extended periods
  • Ability to handle dry ice
  • Proficient and certified on all warehouse equipment
  • Proficient in an ERP system, such as SAP
  • Authorized to operate the company vehicle
