Develop and implement techniques and applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
Design and evaluate experiments measuring the impact of product changes
Analyze product data to uncover root causes of metric movements
Test, validate, and reformulate models to accurately predict outcomes and interests
Recommend data-driven solutions to stakeholders
Communicate results to cross-functional stakeholders to inform product decisions
Develop tools to scale and automate analyses and improve company productivity
Deliver oral and written presentations of mathematical modeling and data analysis results to management and end users
Mentor and guide team members
Identify and recommend best practices for testing, validating, and reformulating models
Analyze, manipulate, and process large datasets using statistical software
Devise machine-learning solutions to improve recommendations, detect spam, and better serve Grindr users
Clean and manipulate raw data and compare models using statistical performance metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Research and Information Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Data Scientist or in a related position
Experience analyzing, manipulating, and processing large sets of data using statistical software and programming languages Python and SQL
Experience developing scalable automated data analysis workflows using Pandas
Experience testing, validating, and reformulating machine learning models using TensorFlow and PyTorch
Experience conducting and interpreting A/B testing using Statsig
Experience presenting mathematical modeling and data analysis results using Tableau
Experience working with Snowflake
