- Applications are retained in the part-time faculty pool for one year and candidates are contacted for interviews as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in any subject and two years of experience in American Sign Language, OR any associate degree in any subject and six years of experience in American Sign Language, OR the equivalent
- Equivalency applicants must submit an additional Equivalency Determination Form and equivalency materials
- Unofficial transcripts required with application; official transcripts required if offered employment
- Foreign degrees require coursework evaluation by a professional association
- Must present acceptable proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States
- Successful fingerprint clearance required; processing fee plus Live Scan fee required
- Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting
