Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's in history OR bachelor's in history AND master's in political science, humanities, geography, area studies, women's studies, social science, or ethnic studies OR the equivalent
- Equivalency applicants must submit an Equivalency Determination Form and equivalency materials
- Unofficial transcripts required with application materials
- Official transcripts required if offered employment
- Foreign degrees must have coursework evaluated by a professional association
- Must present acceptable proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States
- Successful fingerprint clearance required
- Must be able to meet working conditions involving long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting
