About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Post incoming payments daily and maintain customer accounts
Monitor outstanding receivables proactively
Review, code, and post supplier invoices
Maintain vendor accounts
Prepare and execute payment runs and monitor due dates
Coordinate with internal departments to clarify discrepancies
Process outstanding items through debt collection when required
Create and maintain master data records
Support monthly and annual closing activities under Austrian GAAP
Communicate with customers and internal departments in German

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed qualified accounting education/training
Approximately 3–5 years of accounting experience
Ability to work confidently and independently
Open-minded, solution-oriented, and communicative approach with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
Structured, reliable, and accurate working style
Interest in digital tools and automation
IT-savvy and comfortable working with accounting and CRM systems
Experience or ability to work with Diamant and transitioning to Oracle NetSuite
Initiative and reliability in meeting deadlines
Very good German speaking skills (C1/C2)
Good English skills
