About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define, develop and promote the Group’s Lean standards
  • Conduct performance diagnostics and develop action plans with operational teams
  • Support sites in achieving their performance objectives and sustaining best practices
  • Capture, standardize and disseminate Lean tools and methods
  • Train and support Methods, Operations and support-function teams in Lean practices
  • Monitor continuous improvement methods and industry innovations
  • Provide support to existing or start-up sites to resolve operational issues
  • Conduct on-site diagnostics and analyze logistics processes
  • Facilitate continuous improvement workshops and lead the associated action plans
  • Support Engineering teams from the offer-design stage to optimize logistics organizations and processes
  • Develop and enhance methods, sizing tools and costing databases
  • Capture lessons learned from activity start-ups to improve standards and accelerate future rollouts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in logistics, supply chain, industrial engineering or continuous improvement
  • At least 7 years of experience deploying Lean initiatives and optimizing logistics performance in complex industrial or logistics environments
  • Strong command of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience leading operational transformation projects, from diagnosis through implementation of action plans
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize operational data
  • Skilled in facilitating workshops, leading working groups and managing continuous improvement plans
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to unite cross-functional teams
  • Self-directed, rigorous, results-oriented, proactive, curious and adaptable
  • Operational experience would be an advantage
