About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and coordinate the Automation & Electrical Engineering activities within the test bench project team
- Define requirements and conduct functional analyses during the preliminary PDR phase
- Carry out in-depth technical analyses through the Critical Design Review (CDR)
- Oversee the manufacturing, integration, and deployment phases for test bench components
- Ensure Work Package progress in compliance with development processes
- Provide structured weekly reports to the service manager and/or project manager
- Contribute to the programming of Innova and Gantner data acquisition and control systems as required
- Work on assignment at a major client in the aerospace sector
- Bring together and coordinate a multidisciplinary project team including mechanical engineers, hydraulic engineers, and project managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in engineering (Bac+5) with a general background or specialization in automation, electrical engineering, or complex systems, or equivalent experience
- Approximately 15 years of experience managing development projects for complex systems, ideally in aerospace, space, or demanding industrial environments
- Strong expertise in automation and electrical engineering applied to test benches
- Proficiency in development processes and the PDR and CDR design review milestones
- Knowledge of test bench data acquisition and control systems
- Current electrical authorization/certification, or the ability to obtain it (documentation required)
- Technical leadership skills and the ability to bring together and motivate a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent reporting and stakeholder communication skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a regulated, demanding industrial environment
