About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and coordinate the “Automation & Electrical Engineering” Work Package within a multidisciplinary team
- Provide technical leadership from the preliminary phases through the analyses leading to the Critical Design Review (CDR)
- Oversee the manufacturing, integration, and deployment of test bench components
- Ensure compliance with applicable development processes, standards, and regulations
- Provide structured weekly reporting to the service delivery manager and/or test bench project manager
- Contribute, where required, to the programming of test bench systems using Innova and Gantner
- Work in compliance with the required authorizations and the HSE prevention plan
- Work on aerospace test benches for a major aerospace and defense client
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or General Engineering with a specialization in complex systems
- Approximately 15 years of experience managing the development of complex systems, ideally gained in a test bench and/or aerospace and defense environment
- H2/B2 electrical certification required (certificate to be provided)
- Proficiency in project milestones and deliverables, including scoping, functional analysis, Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR)
- Knowledge of the standards and regulations applicable to test benches
- Experience with Innova and/or Gantner is an advantage but not mandatory
- Leadership skills and the ability to unite a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a methodical approach
- Autonomy and the ability to make decisions on complex technical matters
- Excellent interpersonal and writing skills for client reporting
