About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop the AI request placement orchestrator (scheduler)
- Deploy and operate edge Kubernetes clusters using K3s and KubeEdge
- Develop high-performance backend services in Go or Rust
- Establish encrypted networking between nodes using WireGuard, a zero-trust approach, and TPM-based hardware anchoring
- Monitor and ensure fleet observability with Prometheus and OpenTelemetry
- Manage resilience, high availability, and production incidents
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation
- Participate in developing a distributed edge AI platform for a major electronics and telecommunications company
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree from an engineering school or a Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in computer science
- At least 5 years of experience in backend development or SRE for distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, ideally K3s and KubeEdge
- Proficiency in Go or Rust
- Knowledge of encrypted networking, particularly WireGuard, zero trust, and TPM
- Proficiency with observability tools such as Prometheus and OpenTelemetry
- Experience with schedulers or distributed computing platforms is a plus
- Practical use of AI tools for code generation, code review, debugging, and automation
- Self-sufficient, thorough, and service-oriented in production environments
- Fluent in technical English
