About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze software specifications and contribute to design activities
- Develop features in C++
- Write and execute unit and integration tests
- Validate software and analyze test results
- Fix defects and enhance existing products
- Write the associated technical documentation
- Follow quality processes and railway standards (EN 50128)
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with systems teams
- Work as part of the teams of a leading railway signaling client on safety-critical embedded and ground-based C++ software
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an engineering school or holder of a Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science or embedded systems
- At least 3 years of experience in C++ software development and/or validation
- Strong command of C++ and software development best practices
- Comfortable with configuration management and issue-tracking tools such as Git, Jira, or equivalent
- Python scripting skills would be an advantage
- Experience in a regulated environment—ideally railway, but also aerospace, defense, or automotive—would be highly valued
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on code quality and traceability
- Good technical English is required
- Motivated to contribute to the growth of a human-sized company
