Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze business needs and functional and technical specifications
  • Design and develop software applications and components in C#/.NET
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of the software architecture
  • Develop new features and enhance existing solutions
  • Participate in integrating software with industrial systems and equipment
  • Perform unit, integration, and validation testing
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve defects
  • Participate in debugging and fine-tuning activities
  • Contribute to improving code performance, robustness, and maintainability
  • Participate in code reviews and apply software development best practices
  • Write and maintain the associated technical documentation
  • Collaborate with software, systems, business, and other project teams
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through integration and validation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in computer science, software development, or a related field
  • Significant experience in C#/.NET development, ideally gained in an industrial or technically complex environment
  • Proficiency in C# and the .NET environment
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Strong knowledge of software design and architecture principles
  • Proficiency in development, debugging, and defect resolution
  • Proficiency with version control tools, particularly Git
  • Strong knowledge of software development and testing practices
  • Experience with .NET Core/.NET 6+, API/service architectures, databases, or Windows/Linux environments is a plus
  • Comfortable working in complex technical environments and enjoying collaborative teamwork
  • Experience in an industrial environment
  • Knowledge of distributed or service-oriented architectures
  • Experience developing REST APIs
  • Knowledge of a front-end technology
  • Proficiency in SQL and a relational database
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools
  • Awareness of performance, reliability, and cybersecurity considerations
  • Knowledge of systems or software that communicate with industrial equipment
