About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Industrialize the project’s development and delivery pipeline, from developer workstations through test environments
  • Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for ground software and embedded software
  • Design and evolve continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, including builds, testing, packaging, and deployment
  • Implement build chains for embedded software, including cross-compilation, as well as for ground software
  • Automate unit tests, integration tests, and validation campaigns in simulated environments or on test benches
  • Integrate code quality and security checks into pipelines
  • Define and enforce version control, branching, and release management strategies
  • Ensure traceability of delivered versions, configurations, and artifacts
  • Containerize build and test environments
  • Manage artifact repositories and automate the production of deliverables
  • Develop scripts and internal tools to automate recurring tasks
  • Implement pipeline monitoring and performance indicators
  • Collaborate with software development, embedded systems, integration, and validation teams
  • Secure the software supply chain, including secrets, access, and third-party components
  • Document CI/CD pipelines and promote DevOps best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree (engineering school or university) in computer science
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development and/or DevOps engineering
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git
  • Proficiency with at least one continuous integration tool, such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, or an equivalent
  • Proficiency in containerization with Docker, Linux environments, and scripting with Python and Bash
  • Strong working knowledge of at least one programming language, ideally C/C++ or Python
  • Experience with software projects requiring high standards of quality and traceability is a plus
  • Experience developing or integrating embedded software
  • Knowledge of cross-compilation toolchains and embedded Linux environments
  • Experience automating tests on test benches or in simulated environments
  • Knowledge of quality requirements for safety-critical software, including the V-model and DO-178C
  • Proficiency with quality and artifact management tools, such as SonarQube, Artifactory, or Nexus
  • Knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code, including Terraform and Ansible
  • Awareness of DevSecOps practices
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
