About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in the development of embedded digital and analog electronic equipment
- Design and develop electronic functions or electronic boards, from requirements definition through validation
- Conduct electronic studies and designs, including specifications, schematics, calculations, and component selection
- Develop electronic schematics
- Perform laboratory troubleshooting, fine-tuning, and validation
- Work on equipment dedicated to high-speed internal communications, high-performance computing, and interfaces with sensors and actuators
- Work on architectures incorporating microprocessors and microcontrollers
- Develop and integrate communication interfaces such as SPI, Ethernet, RS, and CAN
- Design and fine-tune analog and digital input processing functions, as well as control and command functions
- Take into account constraints associated with embedded environments, including EMC, thermal, vibration, and electrical requirements
- Prepare the technical documentation associated with the project
- Monitor design, troubleshooting, and validation activities
- Collaborate with project teams and technical stakeholders
- Manage multiple topics in parallel, prioritize activities, and meet commitments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in electronics, embedded systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience developing embedded digital and analog electronic equipment
- Significant experience working in highly constrained environments with low production volumes
- Proficiency in the various stages of electronic development: requirements, design, schematic development, calculations, troubleshooting, and laboratory validation
- Experience designing equipment subject to EMC, thermal, vibration, and electrical constraints
- Knowledge of analog and digital input processing and control systems
- Familiarity with the DOORS requirements management tool
- Electrical authorization/certification
- Experience in the defense, aerospace, or railway sectors, or in an industrial environment with stringent safety and security requirements
- Autonomy and rigor in managing technical activities
- Excellent technical writing skills and strong documentation discipline
- Ability to manage priorities and work on multiple topics in parallel
