About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead software development activities using Agile/Scrum across three defense projects
Manage the backlog, plan sprints, and track sprint progress
Monitor progress and provide reporting to project management
Coordinate development teams and software architects
Make technical decisions and manage priorities and dependencies
Prepare and facilitate software milestone reviews covering specification, validation, and qualification
Ensure associated documentation is properly maintained
Track workload, costs, and resources in a multi-project environment
Identify risks and propose action plans
Coordinate regularly with teams based in Bourges

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree: Master’s degree (engineering school or university) in computer science, embedded systems, or electronics
At least 8 years of experience in embedded software
Technical experience in development, architecture, or integration
At least 3 years of leadership experience as a Software Work Package Manager, Software Project Manager, or Software Project Leader
Strong knowledge of embedded software and the V-Model
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Proficiency in backlog management (JIRA or equivalent)
Skills in tracking costs, schedules, and workload
Experience preparing milestone reviews and managing project documentation
French citizenship required; this position is subject to defense security clearance
Experience in defense, aerospace, or complex embedded systems is a plus
Knowledge of critical software development standards is a plus
Experience managing multiple projects is a plus
Leadership, strong communication skills, sound decision-making, organizational skills, diplomacy, and ability to synthesize complex information
