About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work on the development of embedded software for safety-critical aerospace systems
  • Participate in the planning, specification, design, development, verification, and validation phases
  • Contribute to defining and implementing software development processes in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines
  • Participate in design and development activities in Model-Based Design (MBD) environments
  • Work with development, verification, and validation environments and tools for MBD software
  • Analyze constraints related to multicore systems and real-time applications
  • Participate in software verification and validation and ensure the consistency of V-model deliverables
  • Provide technical expertise to project teams on design choices, development methods, and issues encountered
  • Contribute to improving software development practices and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, embedded software, embedded systems, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience
  • Significant experience in embedded software development for aerospace systems
  • Strong knowledge of the various software development lifecycle phases: planning, design, development, verification, and validation
  • Good knowledge of aerospace standards and guidelines: ARP4754A, DO-178C, and DO-331
  • Significant experience with MBD development and verification environments, particularly the associated tools
  • Experience developing embedded software for safety-critical systems
  • Good understanding of multicore architectures and real-time constraints
  • Ability to work on complex technical topics and provide genuine expertise to project teams
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to work in an environment subject to stringent safety and quality requirements
