About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design plastic and sheet-metal parts using CREO
  • Ensure the mechanical integration of electronic boards and components
  • Produce technical drawings and apply GD&T / functional dimensioning
  • Take thermal, assembly, and cost constraints into account
  • Monitor prototypes and participate in testing
  • Engage in technical discussions with suppliers and molders
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Prepare the associated technical documentation
  • Work for an international client providing connected solutions for the telecommunications and energy sectors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree or a Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in mechanical engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in product mechanical design
  • Proficiency in CREO
  • Strong experience designing injection-molded plastic parts and sheet-metal components
  • Proficiency in functional dimensioning / GD&T
  • Knowledge of the relevant manufacturing processes
  • Experience in consumer electronics, telecommunications, or the automotive industry would be highly appreciated
  • Knowledge of thermal engineering or electronic board integration is an asset
  • A good level of technical English is required
  • Thoroughness, creativity, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
