About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze system and subsystem functional requirements
Design functional models of vehicle functions using MATLAB/Simulink
Model state machines and sequential logic using Stateflow
Develop environment models to simulate the behavior of the vehicle and its equipment
Verify models through MIL simulation using test scenarios, coverage analysis, and formal verification
Ensure traceability between requirements, models, and tests using Requirements Toolbox and IBM DOORS
Apply modeling guidelines and manage model configuration using Git/SVN
Participate in design reviews, prepare documentation, and liaise with system architects and embedded software teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree: Master’s degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or university program in control systems, embedded systems, mechatronics, electronics, or electrical engineering
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Model-Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
Essential skills: MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, MIL simulation, functional specification, and requirements engineering
Technical English for reading documentation and written communication
Security clearance required
Preferred qualifications: Simulink Test, Simulink Design Verifier, Simulink Coverage, Requirements Toolbox / DOORS, knowledge of Embedded Coder, CAN/J1939 vehicle buses, ISO 26262, DO-178C, or EN 50128 standards, and experience in the automotive, railway, aerospace, or defense sectors
Strong attention to detail, abstraction and synthesis skills, team spirit, excellent interpersonal skills, and technical curiosity
