About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure business continuity of the Legacy platform until its decommissioning
  • Maintain the platform’s production service levels: operations, incident monitoring, and risk management
  • Identify and anticipate supplier changes, including APIs, protocols, interface contracts, distributed offerings, and regulatory or technical constraints
  • Analyze the impact on existing capabilities and affected customers
  • Assess and prioritize the required adaptations
  • Make investment decisions based on whether they are essential to business continuity and the migration roadmap
  • Own the customer relationship, supporting requirements gathering, challenging assumptions, and consolidating needs
  • Manage supplier relationships and monitor their changes
  • Operationally oversee the activities of the domain’s Product Owners
  • Build and prioritize the roadmap and backlog in JIRA and Confluence
  • Coordinate the implementation of adaptations with product and technical teams
  • Map the Legacy platform’s functional capabilities and usage patterns for target-platform teams to inform their migration decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree: engineering school, Master’s degree in computer science/information systems, or business school degree with a specialization in digital technology/information systems
  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, as an experienced Product Owner, or as an IT project manager
  • Ideally, experience with high-volume transactional platforms (distribution, travel, transportation, e-commerce, banking, etc.)
  • IT project management experience and understanding of complex information systems (multiple applications and partners)
  • Strong knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP, interface contracts, versioning) and integration challenges
  • Knowledge of production operations (run, application maintenance and support, incident management) and risk management
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Preferred qualifications: experience migrating or decommissioning a Legacy platform; knowledge of travel distribution (GDS, NDC, OSDM); experience coordinating Product Owner teams
  • Autonomy, strong coordination skills, and a collaborative, cross-functional mindset
  • Analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, and the ability to make well-reasoned decisions—including saying no when necessary
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills, with confidence engaging with diverse stakeholders (customers, suppliers, and technical teams)
