About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the quality of one or more projects, from preliminary studies through equipment acceptance
  • Supervise, organize, and provide day-to-day support to a small quality team
  • Implement and ensure compliance with quality requirements specific to the project
  • Verify that activities related to supply quality are defined, documented, and effectively performed
  • Prepare the project’s quality organization and management documentation and ensure compliance with it
  • Verify the acquisition and conformity of the evidence required to validate solutions
  • Ensure quality tracking at project milestones, from integration through testing, qualification, and acceptance
  • Manage procurement requirements internally
  • Monitor quality during equipment acceptance at suppliers’ facilities
  • Participate in customer progress meetings
  • Report difficulties or blocking issues to management
  • Manage internal nonconformities, deviations, anomaly reports, and change requests
  • Conduct supplier audits and manage the associated action plans
  • Manage equipment configuration
  • Compile the project’s environmental documentation
  • Apply knowledge of CE marking and certification (Low Voltage, EMC, RoHS) and REACH regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree (engineering degree or equivalent) in quality management, or a general technical degree with a specialization in quality
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar project quality role within a demanding industrial environment
  • Demonstrated experience in direct team management
  • Broad technical expertise (electrical, mechanical, and automation engineering)
  • Proficiency in quality analysis tools: 5M analysis, root cause analysis, QQOQCCP, and cause-and-effect diagrams
  • Ability to implement containment, corrective, preventive, and improvement actions
  • Leadership, ability to unite and motivate a team, cross-functional perspective, and impartiality
  • Strong communication skills, humility, and a conciliatory approach
  • Methodical, analytical, autonomous, and accountable
  • Comfortable communicating with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers
  • Responsive in addressing blocking issues
  • Experience in a quality-critical industrial environment is a plus
  • Experience in equipment configuration management is a plus
  • Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, EN 9100, or equivalent) is a plus
  • Supplier audit experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of CE certification (Low Voltage, EMC, RoHS) and REACH regulations is a plus
  • Previous experience in a role requiring security clearance is a plus
  • Secret Défense security clearance required
