About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop software features in an embedded Linux environment
Integrate and adapt open-source components
Develop and maintain drivers and system services
Fix defects and enhance existing products
Perform unit and integration testing
Write technical documentation
Contribute to continuous integration
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Work on embedded Linux software for connected products deployed at scale by an international provider of connected solutions for the telecommunications and energy sectors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree from an engineering school or a Master’s-level qualification (Bac+5) in computer science or embedded systems
At least 3 years of experience in embedded Linux development
Proficiency in C
Proficiency with the Linux environment (Yocto, Buildroot, or equivalent)
Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python
Comfortable with Git and continuous integration pipelines
Experience with telecommunications or connected products (set-top boxes, gateways, IoT) would be highly valued
Networking knowledge is a plus
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Good level of technical English required
