Key responsibilities & impact

Develop the common software building blocks required for the migration to TestStand and their use by the entire team
Design and adapt the TestStand user interface to meet user needs
Migrate an existing test bench application to the new architecture
Develop, integrate, and enhance software components in C, Python, and C#
Adapt scripts and CI/CD pipelines to the new project organization
Participate in the integration and validation of applications directly on test benches
Collaborate with R&D and production teams to analyze requirements and resolve technical challenges
Prepare the documentation required for the use, maintenance, and evolution of the solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree from an engineering school or a master’s degree in computer science
Experience in test bench development or software development in an environment combining IT and electronics, such as embedded systems, instrumentation, IoT, or industrial applications
Strong C and Python development skills
Knowledge of TestStand, ideally gained through the development or enhancement of test benches
C# skills to work on existing components
Proficiency in Git, essential for this role
Knowledge of GitLab CI and PowerShell
Basic knowledge of electronics and measurement techniques
Ability to produce clear and well-structured technical documentation
Rigorous approach and strong analytical skills
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to interact with a variety of stakeholders
