About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze software specifications and requirements
  • Write test plans, test specifications, and test procedures
  • Develop automated test scripts
  • Execute validation campaigns on test benches
  • Analyze results, write reports, and track defects
  • Manage requirements-to-test traceability
  • Participate in validation reviews
  • Comply with quality requirements and the EN 50128 standard
  • Work within the teams of a recognized railway signaling client
  • Ensure software compliance with functional and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree from an engineering school or a Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science or embedded systems
  • At least 2 years of experience in software validation or testing
  • Strong command of testing methodologies
  • Scripting skills (Python or equivalent)
  • Proficiency with requirements and defect management tools such as DOORS, Jira, or equivalent
  • Experience in a regulated environment, particularly railway, aerospace, or defense, would be highly valued
  • Knowledge of C/C++ is an asset
  • Rigorous, with strong analytical skills
  • Good technical English is required
