About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze the needs of the various business units and define appropriate procurement strategies
Manage the entire procurement process: sourcing, supplier consultations, tendering, proposal analysis, negotiation, and contracting
Manage various direct and indirect procurement categories, including professional services, general services, training, engineering, maintenance, equipment, and other categories within the scope
Negotiate commercial and contractual terms while optimizing costs, lead times, and supplier risks
Identify savings opportunities through total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, procurement consolidation, and supplier base optimization
Monitor contracts, evaluate suppliers, and ensure compliance with internal procedures
Collaborate with procurement teams and various stakeholders across Europe
Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement tools and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's to Master's degree in procurement, business, management, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in direct and/or indirect procurement, ideally in an international environment
Proficiency in sourcing, tendering, and commercial and contractual negotiation processes
Ability to independently manage procurement projects from requirements definition through contract signature
Good understanding of procurement performance, supplier risk management, and cost optimization challenges
Knowledge of SAP MM is required
Autonomous, detail-oriented, and proactive
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders
Fluent English is essential
Proficiency in Spanish or German
