About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers
  • Conduct supplier audits covering processes, products, and quality systems
  • Monitor non-conformities and lead corrective action plans
  • Analyze supplier quality performance indicators
  • Participate in design and manufacturing reviews
  • Approve quality documents, including inspection plans and end-of-manufacturing dossiers
  • Act as the interface between suppliers, procurement, and technical teams
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree from an engineering school or a Master's-level qualification (Bac+5) in quality or mechanical engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in supplier quality within an industrial environment
  • Proficiency in problem-solving tools: 8D, FMEA, and 5 Whys
  • Strong knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard
  • Experience conducting supplier audits
  • Experience in the naval, energy, aerospace, or defense sectors would be highly valued
  • Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and welding is an advantage
  • Good level of English required
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
