Key responsibilities & impact

Lead IT infrastructure deployment, migration, and evolution projects from initial scoping through production release
Define the scope of infrastructure projects and identify the required technical, organizational, and security prerequisites
Organize and facilitate kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and steering committees
Identify, assess, and monitor risks, and define the associated action plans
Define and monitor the schedule, workload, and budget
Coordinate internal technical teams and service providers across systems, networking, storage, backup, virtualization, and container platforms
Lead projects involving servers, storage, backup, virtualized environments, and container platforms
Contribute to the definition of architectures and IP addressing plans
Ensure compliance with security and data protection requirements
Oversee integration, acceptance testing, and production release
Produce and maintain project deliverables
Provide reporting to management and stakeholders
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree (engineering degree or equivalent) in computer science or information technology
Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of infrastructure environments, including servers, storage, backup, virtualization, Kubernetes, and networking
Solid command of traditional project management methodologies
Ability to lead a project end to end, including kickoff, anticipation of risks and prerequisites, rigorous monitoring, and production release
PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proactive approach and strong risk awareness
Confident facilitating meetings and bringing technical teams together
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
Clear communication with a wide range of stakeholders
Experience in virtualized and containerized environments is a plus
Awareness of data security and service continuity requirements
Experience with infrastructure migration or refresh projects is a plus
