About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle matters relating to data, new technologies, and the protection of personal data
- Draft and negotiate contracts in French and English relating to the activities within the scope of responsibility
- Draft data purchase/sale agreements, data onboarding agreements, tracker placement agreements, programmatic advertising agreements, and IT contracts relating to adtech
- Draft and negotiate SaaS, software, licensing, and agreements with various partners
- Provide legal advice and support to operational teams
- Draft memoranda on the department’s legal issues, including risk analyses and recommendations on available options
- Support negotiations and project implementation, particularly in relation to personal data protection and artificial intelligence
- Monitor GDPR compliance in conjunction with the DPO team
- Update records of processing activities for personal data
- Draft DPIAs and support the operational rollout of GDPR compliance
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments, assess their impacts and opportunities, and share findings with operational teams
- Contribute to the Legal Department’s cross-functional activities, including contractual policies, template documents, and processes
- Support and advise the TF1 Group on its strategic and operational priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree or equivalent (Bac+5)
- Thorough knowledge of the GDPR, the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés), ePrivacy, and CNIL guidelines
- Knowledge of new technology law
- Strong knowledge of contract law, the law of obligations, and contract drafting and negotiation techniques
- Strong written and spoken English
- Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and make them accessible to non-specialists
- Excellent drafting skills and ability to communicate and coordinate with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
- Thoroughness and strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt effectively to operational requirements
- Pragmatic, business-oriented approach
- Interest in new technologies
- Available from January 2027
- Ideally 4–5 years’ experience in a similar role or at a law firm
