About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum
- Facilitate group discussions using approved modalities within the clinical framework
- Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches
- Monitor member progress and document outcomes
- Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members
- Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master's degree
- Required behavioral health licensure or certification, including but not limited to LCSW, LPC, LMHC, MCAP, LMFT, or CAP
- Ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states
- Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting
- High comfort level with technology, including EMR, telehealth software, Google products, and mobile apps
- Ability to work 2–3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed
- Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse screening required for positions providing care to vulnerable populations
- Bilingual English and Spanish written and verbal proficiency preferred
- Experience in multilingual or multicultural environments is a plus
- Preferred experience in mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, or medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
