About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform corrective and enhancement maintenance on internal systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance
Diagnose production failures, analyze logs, identify root causes (RCA), and implement swift fixes
Design, develop, and maintain integrations with ERPs, payment platforms, and CRMs via APIs, Webhooks, and background processes
Serve as the technical point of contact for Level 3 support on complex issues
Improve legacy code, optimize complex database queries, and modernize components
Create and monitor preventive monitoring alerts
Keep technical documentation on architecture, data flows, and integrations up to date

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid backend development experience with C#, Java, Node.js, or PHP
Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs
Knowledge of SOAP/XML is a plus
Familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
Ability to read, create, and optimize queries and stored procedures
Ability to diagnose code and identify the root causes of issues
Experience with Git
Strong communication skills and empathy when working with internal users during incidents
Experience with Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, Kibana, or Zabbix is a plus
Knowledge of RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, or AWS SQS is a plus
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
Experience with Kanban/Scrum, ITIL, and incident/problem management is a plus
Basic knowledge of CI/CD is a plus
Experience with React or Angular, along with knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, is a plus
