About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Map and standardize receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping workflows
- Create and update replicable Playbooks and Standard Operating Procedures for different sites
- Analyze data from SAP ECC/S/4HANA EWM integrated with GCP, BigQuery, and Looker to identify bottlenecks and opportunities
- Lead Kaizen workshops and A3/DMAIC projects focused on productivity, inventory accuracy, dwell time, and operating costs
- Support the transition and migration to SAP S/4HANA EWM, aligning physical processes, standard times, and layout with system configuration
- Develop and conduct LPA audits and Gemba Walks to ensure compliance and sustain improvements
- Train and coach local teams in 5 Whys, Ishikawa, PDCA, 5S, and Kaizen
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Production, Logistics, Mechanical, or related fields), Business Administration, or Logistics Technology
- Proven experience with continuous improvement and Lean Logistics practices in large Distribution Centers, Warehouses, or Logistics Service Providers
- Strong proficiency in operational data analysis and development of logistics performance indicators (KPIs)
- Practical knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA; WM/EWM experience preferred
- Proficiency in PDCA, A3, VSM/Value Stream Mapping, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, and Kaizen
- Availability for short, periodic travel between operational sites
- Completed Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus
- Experience or familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, SQL, Looker Studio, or Power BI is a plus
- Experience with or exposure to intralogistics automation projects and Change Management is a plus
