About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the team’s primary technical reference
Raise the bar for the team, foster a culture of collaboration, and develop less senior professionals
Conduct code reviews and pair programming
Lead the definition of front-end and back-end architectural standards
Focus on scalability, high performance, cost management, and technological modernization of the platform
Build and evolve responsive, accessible interfaces, high-performance services, and APIs for the e-commerce ecosystem
Collaborate with product, infrastructure, DevOps, data, and marketplace teams
Act as the technical voice in deliveries, discovery initiatives, blocker mapping, and architectural decisions
Keep documentation up to date
Monitor production applications, resolve complex incidents, and participate in the on-call and support rotation
Ensure system availability and security

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced proficiency in front-end technologies: React, JavaScript ES6+, and TypeScript
Proficiency in back-end technologies: Kotlin and Java
Experience building, consuming, and migrating RESTful/GraphQL APIs
Solid experience with Design Systems and Micro Frontends
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and microservices
Knowledge of Clean Code principles
Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing
Advanced version control with Git
Knowledge of front-end loading optimization and accessibility
Knowledge of concurrency, caching, and high availability in back-end systems
Experience with CI/CD in Agile environments
Hands-on experience with monitoring and metrics using New Relic, Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar tools
