About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate business opportunities in the Electricity Sector
- Develop financial models (NPV, IRR, scenarios, and risks)
- Analyze regulatory impacts (ANEEL, CCEE, ONS, and the Free Energy Market)
- Assess regulatory, operational, and market risks
- Support the design of Integrated Energy Products and Solutions (Distributed Generation, BESS, Gas, Services, and the Free Energy Market)
- Collaborate with the Energy Trading, Regulatory, M&A, and Corporate Finance teams
- Develop investment theses
- Enable the practical implementation of initiatives by reducing risks and maximizing returns
- Ensure regulatory compliance and tax efficiency of proposed structures
- Prepare structured executive reports with clear decision recommendations (go/no-go/adjustments)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Economics
- Experience with financial modeling
- Experience in energy markets (BESS and the Free Energy Market)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Ability to work across technical and strategic areas
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Energy Markets or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of Electricity Sector regulations is an advantage
