About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute SQL queries to extract, process, and validate data from various sources.
Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL routines, ensuring continuous data flow and information integrity.
Support the maintenance of databases and Data Warehouse or Data Lake structures.
Support data quality activities.
Assist in developing and maintaining management and operational dashboards and reports.
Support the formulation, updating, and validation of key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring performance and identifying trends.
Conduct basic descriptive analyses and data checks, identifying patterns and anomalies.
Use visualization, ETL, and analytics tools in accordance with team guidelines.
Interact with internal clients to gather requirements under guidance, translating business needs into data solutions.
Support the documentation of business rules, data dictionaries, and technical specifications.
Support data, BI, ML, and AI projects.
Work in compliance with information security policies and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 1–2 years of experience in data analytics or Business Intelligence (BI).
Solid knowledge of SQL, including creating complex queries and performing basic optimization.
Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of ETL processes or experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and generate relevant business insights.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
Willingness and interest in learning new technologies and methodologies.
Experience with Python for data analysis, manipulation, and automation.
Knowledge of Data Warehouse or Data Lake concepts and structures.
Experience with code version control tools such as Git.
Experience using Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, and Spark.
Familiarity with basic Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Certifications in BI, data analytics, or specific tools.
Experience with Agile methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.
