About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide individual or group nutrition counseling
  • Assess eligibility for health programs and the need for referral to specialists
  • Advise and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and Petrobras departments
  • Advise leaders, management, Human Resources, HSE, and Health Service staff on psychosocial risks
  • Prepare technical reports and opinions
  • Provide consultations, guidance, and monitoring in accordance with Petrobras protocols
  • Promote mental health in the workplace through collaborative and multidisciplinary initiatives
  • Provide individual interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary follow-up for active and leave-of-absence employees
  • Assess work-related psychosocial factors and the impacts of organizational and technological changes
  • Develop materials, deliver lectures, and conduct health education activities
  • Develop action plans and periodically analyze the Healthy Eating Promotion Program
  • Lead educational and therapeutic groups focused on disease prevention and health promotion
  • Conduct sanitary inspections of kitchens, cafeterias, pantries, vending machines, and transported meals
  • Prepare inspection checklists and reports
  • Monitor CAT records for incidents involving waterborne and foodborne diseases and participate in investigations and corrective actions
  • Analyze laboratory tests for nutritional assessment
  • Identify nutritional disorders and diet-related diseases and provide guidance on healthy habits
  • Refer employees for treatment through the accredited healthcare network when necessary
  • Monitor nutritional indicators and epidemiological studies
  • Conduct shared consultations with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide technical support and case consultation to teams
  • Record information and consultations in forms and computerized systems
  • Perform duties established under Law No. 8,234/91, CFN and CRN regulations, Regulatory Standards (NRs), and applicable legislation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, with a certificate issued by an institution recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC)
  • Good standing with the Regional Council of Nutritionists (CRN) for the location of practice
  • Postgraduate qualification in Functional Nutrition, Behavioral Nutrition, or Health Promotion, recognized by the MEC
  • Proof of registration with the CRN in the state of practice and payment of the current year’s annual fee
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in clinical care activities
  • 6 years of experience in functional nutrition, behavioral nutrition, or health-promotion nutrition
  • Basic Biosafety or NR-32 training
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and electronic medical records
  • Knowledge of and/or proven experience with nutrition counseling concepts and multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Proficiency with computerized systems, including Microsoft Office and systems used by Petrobras
  • Experience in sanitary risk control in food service operations is preferred
  • Experience in organizational nutrition activities is preferred
