About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform accounting analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Prepare and review accounting entries
- Perform accounting and financial reconciliations
- Ensure the proper classification and recording of transactions
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Prepare management reports and performance indicators to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including CPC and IFRS
- Support internal and external audits
- Contribute to the improvement of internal controls and financial processes
- Partner with clients and other company departments to provide technical accounting support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed or ongoing degree in Accounting
- Previous experience with accounting routines and processes
- Experience with reconciliations and accounting close processes
- Knowledge of financial statements and accounting analysis
- Knowledge of the Domínio accounting system
- Experience working at an accounting firm
- Knowledge of the Simples Nacional, Presumed Profit, and Actual Profit tax regimes
- Based in Belém, Pará, or the surrounding metropolitan area
