About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enhance and maintain the platform’s Pay & Ship enrollment flow
- Collaborate on the development of new features, proposing scalable and sustainable technical solutions
- Work with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to deliver features
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and standards
- Develop features using industry best practices and company guidelines
- Create solutions capable of handling massive request volumes
- Keep technical documentation up to date
- Monitor health metrics and manage production incident alerts
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate and evolve products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production environments
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Knowledge of automated testing (Jest or similar tools)
- Experience with Git/GitHub and version control
- Understanding of SOLID principles and Clean Code
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Preferred: experience with NestJS or similar frameworks
- Preferred: knowledge of messaging systems (RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka)
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD, Docker, and monitoring/observability
- Preferred: experience working in cloud environments, especially AWS
